1.AmpuSafe®102B-19 is a member of the family of ready-to-use systems intended for the collection, treatment and transport of specimens.
2.The AmpuSafe®102B-19 device was designed to help ensure the quality of specimens by providing an easy-to-operate all-in-one self-contained system with a built-in swab, a pre-filled sample diluent and a built-in liquid outlet nozzle (the dropper). Operators only need to follow a very simple procedure to safely complete specimen collection, treatment, transport and application for testing.
3.Compared to traditional specimen treatment methods the new and unique design of the AmpuSafe®102B-19 offers following advantages:
(1)Product stability:
The use of sealed solution storage helps reduce the penetration of atmospheric air into and evaporation of solution.
(2)Reduced chance of contamination:
The built-in swab and the pre-filled sample diluent make specimen collection/treatment/transport less cumbersome. The built-in dropper serves to facilitate safe application of treated specimen to testing devices. All these result in reduced chance of contamination from/to environment and operators, and cross contamination between samples.
